Founder & CEO
Robin Pettit, MBA is an experienced IT Business Consultant with fervor for helping small businesses and nonprofits realize their greatest potential. Robin has over 25 years of demonstrated success in corporate project management, IT product design, and system transformation.
Her corporate project experiences involve enhancing the trajectory of a product to gain additional revenue and target markets, improve existing systems for internal and external clients, and also streamline business processes in fortune 500 companies.
Robin is excited to work with individuals, small businesses, families, and investors. Creating Robin’s Resource Group is a perfect culmination of her many years of professional and community experience to solve problems and provide options that will provide long term protection and wealth for years to come. Her licenses and expertise will allow her to provide a multi-faceted set of services in the HealthCare, Life Insurance and Real Estate industry to all clients. She is a health insurance broker that is licensed in Texas, Indiana and Illinois and along with being a Licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker. Robin holds degrees from Roosevelt and Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.

In addition to her corporate and small business professional commitments, she is also dedicated to providing her community with innovative technology solutions. Robin has since served on the Board of Directors as Vice President for Camp Butterfly, where she partnered with Northwestern University’s Kellogg’s School of Management to provide Camp Butterfly with a pro bono strategic marketing plan and IT Roadmap.
She’s served as past board president, secretary and past lead of special projects for the Community Justice for Youth Institute where again, partnering with Northwestern she secured a pro bono IT feasibility study for one of CJYI’s projects and collaborated with the Illinois Art and Design School to have its website developed. Robin has additionally actively served on boards for the Renaissance Collaborative, the Black Data Processing Associates, and the Special Olympics and is currently President of Hadiya Pendleton Park in Bronzeville.

Her latest endeavor, Socks for Bunk “Comforting a Soldiers Walk”, was a personal one in honor of her dad, Robert “Bunk” S. Pettit Sr, a Purple Heart Korean War Veteran who passed away on Christmas day in 2015.
Robin founded Socks for Bunk is an nonprofit organization to support veterans throughout the winter months by providing them with care packages including multiple packs of thick socks, toiletries, and other basic essentials. To date, Socks For Buck has donated 1,800 socks and over 450 care packages to the veterans.
